University at Buffalo - Center For The Arts
At the Center for the Arts, I worked as a student lighting designer, electrician, audio proficient student and/or stagehand. The CFA is a roadhouse environment while allowing live design opportunities for the students. I assist with performances including dance, lectures, special guests, as well as international tours of concerts and musicals. I have designed for the Fall Festival Concerts of 2015 and 2016, as well as dance concerts.
Fall Festival is a live concert held at the University at Buffalo. There are three signed hip hop artists and one headliner. There needed to be a ground plan and light plot drafted for both outside, on a StageLine 350, and inside in the Alumni Arena, incase of rain. 3D Rendering and drafting played a roll to communicate elevations and ideas. For the three openers, I was the lighting designer and wanted the concert to be lively and fun.
