Zodiaque Dance Ensemble
Zodiaque Dance Ensemble is a dance show located in the Black Box at the University at Buffalo. At this dance show, there are a number of pieces that are to be light through a rep plot. This is due to there being multiple designers on this show. As part of the Lighting Design 2 class, we were to make Light Plots, Magic Sheets and a Ground Plan. They are located under there appropriate tabs.
While creating these drafts, I had to keep in mind that there were multiple needs for the show and to be mindful of other designers.

Light Plot
This Light Plot was created using Vectorworks.
I started off by looking at degree's of light from certain positions. From there, I placed lights according to the information I had gathered. I used certain degree barrels in certain places, such as 50 degrees for a gobo texture, because I knew they would fill the stage. I had to be mindful of inventory and dimmer availability.

Magic Sheet
This Magic Sheet was created using Excel. It is used to know what channels bring up what light. I tried to make everything as clear as possible. I would like to find a better way of labeling each system's group number.
Ground Plan
This Ground Plan was created using Vectorworks. It is used to know the layout of the room.
I had to be mindful of how much space I was giving the dancers to dance and also how many seats were in the space. I had to revise my wanger placement due to other events happening at that same time and be mindful of what shaped hanger I was using and how many legs would be used.
Something to revise would be to add some sort of key to know more information as to what is what.

Elevation
This elevation was created with Vectorworks. It is used to understand where scenary is placed in a space.
I had to be mindful of how far apart they would be and how high. We did not want them to be a distraction to the dances.
A revision I'd make is to update the screens. They have changed since originally drafted.
